What do I get when I purchase a template from SmileTemplates.com?

You will get access to download .zip file(s). The .zip file(s) contain the following:

  • An editable template layout in the application format you have selected;
  • All supporting template graphics (jpg, eps and tif images);
  • Text file with "Single User License".

You will need unzipping software to open the .zip archive. Windows users may visit www.winzip.com. Mac users may visit www.stuffIt.com.

How can I download templates?

After you complete the payment, please follow these steps:

  • Go to page "My Account" login using your username (your email) and password;
  • Choose your template and your favorite software application;
  • Click on the button "Download".
Will I get instantly access to my products after purchase?

Yes, afrer purchase you will get instanty access to products in your account.

I previously purchased a design and have subsequently misplaced the file. Can I download another copy?

Yes. Visit your "My Account" page on our website to download files in any format at any time.

If I purchase your subscription or package, what is considered as one used product?

One used product in our subscriptions or packages will be considered as one downloaded product, for example:

  • One downloaded PowerPoint template (including all slides) - will considered as a one product in subscription or package;
  • One downloaded brochure (including outside and iside page) - will considered as a one product;
  • One downloaded music loop - will considered as a one product; and ect...
When I purchase your subscription will it be auto renewed for the next months?

No, by default your subscriptions are not set for auto renewal, but if you want you can set them for auto renewal, in your account.

Can I use downloaded products after my subscription (or package) will expires?

Yes, of course, you can use your downloaded products after your subscription will expires.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept both PayPal and Credit Card payments. Credit Card payments are accepted via 2Checkout which is a well-known secure payment gateway.

We provide templates in the following formats:

  • QuarkXPress - 6.0, 7.0;
  • Microsoft Publisher - 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013;
  • Microsoft Word - 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013.

PowerPoint templates are compatible with PowerPoint Versions: 97, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013. Backgrounds may be used with all PowerPoint versions.

I am a MAC user, are your templates compatible for the MAC OS?

Yes they are. But you need to have a software program that supports the available formats.

Are the PowerPoint templates compatible with OpenOffice and Keynote software?

All our PowerPoint templates are compatible with OpenOffice software but in Keynote software you can use only backgrounds.

What kind of software will I need to modify the layouts as per my needs?

SmileTemplates offers pre-designed layouts of brochures, flyers, newsletters, business cards, postcards, ads, letterheads, posters, greeting cards, menus and presentation folders. You need the following software to utilize the same:

  • To modify Adobe Illustrator Templates, you require Adobe Illustrator.
  • To modify Adobe InDesign Templates, you require Adobe InDesign.
  • To modify Adobe PageMaker Templates, you require Adobe PageMaker.
  • To modify CorelDraw Templates, you require CorelDraw.
  • To modify QuarkXPress Templates, you require QuarkXPress.
  • To modify Microsoft Publisher Templates, you require Microsoft Publisher.
  • To modify Microsoft Word Templates, you require Microsoft Word.

Note: Some software do support opening source files of other software, though certain effects might not work & you might not be able to modify it to the best.

Are fonts included with your templates?

Unfortunately, we do not provide fonts. When opened on your computer, the template uses the standard system fonts that come with your operating system (Arial, Times New Roman for PC; Times and Helvetica for Mac).

Where I can download free examples?

I downloaded my template in the wrong format. Can I download it again in the correct format?

Yes. Simply log into your account and re-download the template, selecting the correct format from the menu. You may download as many formats of the template as you like.

Customization
Can I resize your templates?

All our templates are available in standard acceptable sizes, but you can resize them to suite your needs.

I like a template, but don't know how to make the changes. Can you customize this template for me?

Yes, we do offer template customization services. This service involves editing a template based on your specifications, for more information please go to page Template Customization Service.

I couldn't find a design that fits my needs. What do you suggest?

Printing
When I buy the template, is my material ready to go for Print?

Apart from templates, there are many other things like content, images of your products / services, your company logo, etc. which needs to be incorporated in the Layout / Template. Based on the knowledge of different users, we offer source files for Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, CorelDraw, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word as well as QuarkXPress.

How can I print my templates? What options are available?

You can print the templates using desktop printing within your offer or go for commercial press printing. To save time by searching a printing company, please go to page Printing Companies.

Affiliate Program
How do I sign up for your affiliate program?

1. Simply fill out our Affiliate Program Application (please click here).
2. Within 24 hours you will receive a confirmation e-mail approving your application.
3. After confirmation e-mail you will receive all necessary instruction on working in our affiliate program.

How much commission do you pay?

We pay a 30% commission on each purchase of customers that you refer and 30% on their future purchases. Your customers will always be yours, and you'll earn 30% commission on each purchase that they will do.

How often are commissions paid?

Commissions are paid after you earn at least $100. We automatically track your commissions and send your payments monthly.

Do you offer any commissions statistics?

Yes. Once you've been approved for our affiliate program you will get access to detailed statistics which track your clicks, sales, your commissions and payouts.
